Twas The Night Before Christmas....

Vance had such a great pajama party and has such great friends. He got a lot of toys enjoyed his cupcakes had soda ate candy but i think what made his night so good was how he didn't cry. If you have ever been around Vance and other kids you would see how great it was to see him sharing and not crying. He woke up this morning wanting to play with his new toys and hasn't stopped since which is a great thing seeing how it decided to start really snowing today. Thank you everyone for all the great gifts.

Christmas party fun time

Today we went to a Christmas party for Chris's shop. Now i know everyone is going to say whats going on with his hair so let me tell we are growing it out and it is at the awkward stage and wont stay down and living where the high is 12 doesnt help so he had a beanie on. Needless to say he had a fun day today.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

We hope everyone had a great THANKSGIVING! Ours was great we went over to our friends house and had thanksgiving with them. Its a lot different having thanksgiving without family. We were talking and remembering how not stressful it was when we were kids all we had to do was get dressed and enjoy the food. Now that we are grown up and have families of our very own we have to get the food ready and now I realize why our families would start getting ready the day before and waking up the day of before the sun was even out. We do have a lot to be thankful for our wonderful families and friends. Without either life would be so boring!!! So we would like to thank our families and friends for being there for laughs and tears we love you all!!

let it snow let it snow let it SNOW!!!!!

Winter is here. Vance was dying to go play in the snow even though it was coming down thick and fast so we took him out for just a little bit he loved it just not when mom tossed some snow at him. :) It snows about 3-4 inches then almost melts all the way then comes down again!!

So today it snowed kinda left us in the house not to mention we had to kinda keep it quiet again today because poor Chris is doing an exercise so we only get to see him for about 3 hours so while we were killing time we took pictures!!!!

Tonight we thought it would be fun to do a craft project with Vance as it turns out doing projects with almost 2 year old is a job in itself ha ha but we had fun!! He can turn anything into a joke he laughs all the time no matter what he is doing he thought it was pretty funny to throw everything on the ground while we were working on his turkey! As you can see the middle turkey is our child's.

Fall is here!! If Idaho doesn't have anything to keep us busy at least it has all the season through out the year some days right now it can be as cold as the low thirty's but today it was nice it was 75 degrees so we just had to get out and play in our front yard with the neighbors Mr. Jack and Miss. Maddie.Vance was so funny he thought when i said jump in the leaves he was supposed to jump beside them. The leaves are all such pretty colors reds and yellows and oranges i guess Pocahontas really knew what she was talking about when she sang "Paint with all the colors in the wind" Because when that wind gets going it really is something nice to look at!

Vance had loads of fun going trick or treating or as he would just say at the door "NANNY" (candy). As you can tell we changed his costume which fit him just right he was a pirate. We hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!!!

Trip back home!!

We are back home after two wonderful weeks in Alamogordo New Mexico visiting all of our great family. We had so much fun we never thought we missed it so much until we came back to Idaho.
We loved seeing all of our family. We went to an apple festival with my parents and then that same weekend went to a night club with Chris' parents that was so much fun!! The best part of the whole trip was watching Vance bond with all his family I still would have to say he bonds the best with his grandpas and his uncles. He calls my Grandpa "PIPA" ha ha we have no idea where he got that and he calls my dad "PAPO" he calls Chris' dad "Papa" and Chris' grandpa "POPO" poor little guy has a different name for them all. But he loved it there so much there was a lot for him to do and get into. His new favorite thing to do is play with trucks and he calls everything trucks including cars and motorcycles. We thought he was going to be bad from being so so spoiled but he is back into his routine sleeping in his own bed and going to school like he was never away all he said was bye mommy and walked away no kiss no nothing :( but we are still trying to get him away from cokes and nanny(candy) darn those grandparents ha ha but that's what grandparents do.
